Much Improved

About a year ago, the owners of the Barnham Fish Bar gave the place a makeover-and it shows! They do the basics very well-great chips, fat, well cooked, nice and large. Ditto the fish-lots of beautifully cooked white meat, not too much batter, and, what there is, isn't too thick, oily, or over bearing. Great options and selection of other things as well. And its always busy, even weekday lunchtimes, which, for a village is a good sign. The staff are clearly well trained and versed in what they need to do, instructions are clearly given to them to make sure that every customers meal is as good as it could be. The lady in charge is charming and has a fantastic memory, serving, as she does on a busy evening about 10 people at once and knowing exactly what everyone has! The only quibble I would have is that there isn't a lot of room whilst you are waiting, but thats hardly their fault.
