We found The Cider House quite by accident and wow what a lovely surprise. We shared a grilled sardines starter (perfectly cooked and tasty)Family Platter for two (Sunday Lunch - full of taste and perfect veg)Followed by a chocolate melt (sorry cannot remember name) but it was heaven on a plate. I would have sneakily wiped the plate with my finger if I wasn't in public. The Service was wonderful - the host was friendly and genuine and you could peak into the kitchen, which was running smoothly. The restaurant is very intimate, cosy with a rustic feel; which was perfect for the location. Everyone seemed happy, the customers were smiling and full of praise for the food. It was a wonderful meal experience. Next time I'm going to try the cider!!

Ate here wih my girlfind after reading a review that they don't take kids at dinner time... Had a fantastic meal on a Monday Night and the service was really good and attentive... Went back with friends on a Saturday Night and the place was packed... only just managed to get a table!.. Food was still fantastic and although I could only see two waitresses (one is the boss!) the service was still spot on... even had time to chat with us at the end of the night...(with a free Apple Schnapps)Have spoken to a few people about The Cider House and they all rave about it....WE WILL BE BACK!!!!
