Sour service

In honesty did not try the food, I tried to get a take away tea and cakes which were advertised as a take away. Was met with an unhelpful surly male, whom I presume was the manager, no plastic containers for take away left. He could not stretch to give us a proper cup even though we were sitting outside the premises. We could not eat in as the place was crowded and my wife uses a wheelchair.

Tasteless food

This is the 2nd time I have visited with my family mainly because there are not many places open on Sunday in Emsworth. I think the chef must have a problem with his tastebuds as everything is tasteless. The chilli is just weird, strange vinegary taste, the quiche is like an unseasoned omlette, no cheese or herbs, devoid of all flavour. We all had different dishes (4 in total) and everybody agreed it was awful. When we politely gave feed back we were told (the same as last time!!) that we were the first people to complain!! Interesting as when we mentioned it to friends, they said that they were told the same thing when they complained. Needless to say we won't be going back!
