• Yummy yummy yummy!

  I went to Spencer's last night (a Friday) for dinner with four friends, for a change of scenery and it did not let me down! The interior is very nicely done up and intimate - perfect for a romantic meal.Service was very good - attentive, friendly and the meal was well paced. The menu has a very nice selection of food - including lots of seafood as Emsworth is an old fishing village. I opted for a selection of marinated olives, tapenade and bread for starter, and then roasted boned saddle of rabbit stuffed with sun blushed tomatoes and wrapped in pancetta (from the specials menu) which was delicious! Portion sizes are very generous, and also you get to choose which two side dishes you want to go with your meal (the roast onion mash was great!).Also a good selection of wine, and the desserts which my friends ordered looked (and tasted) great!Overall, a really nice experience, with very well prepared food, allthough perhaps a little pricey (although probably worth the money!)

• Treast dinner out!

  Fantastic restaurant - great for a treat or a special celebration. The food is excellent and the standard is exceptional and never fails to please. I have enjoyed amny evenings here with friends and family and have also come away feeling like i've been spoilt. Delicious food and a good range to please everyone. It is on the pricey side but perfect for a celebration.
