If you had paid a substantial sum of money for a floral tribute would you expect it to be left on a pavement of busy road where it is subject to wind and rain, traffic polution, rubbish being blown into it and possibly being stolen? The florist has put a great deal of care into preparing the tribute in the way the customer wanted if the bereaved saw the tribute was damaged would they blame the florist? - no other undertaker would be so disrespectful.
