    We chose Hallidays for our Anniversay lunch which was most enjoyable and efficiently served. Somehow the Ambience of previous visits has dimished which was a little disappointing. The vegetarian element does not merge nicely with the menu. Cheese and biscuits at £8.75 seems a little excessive!

  • 4 Quality Restaurant

    The owner of this restaurant was (still is ?) a senior lecturer in catering and chef training and does it show ! If they still have it on their menu, try their slow roast belly pork. Tourists, reasonably priced for a good restaurant but...study the map, not easy to find. Also Uppark House is nearby and has been fully restored after their devastating fire.
