20 Finchdean Road,
I contacted this welder 'Gary' told him the job required to be done. He never turned up. He never even bothered to call to cancel or rebook another appointment.
The mobile welder on this phone also on 07771603003 is called Gary. I contacted Gary on Sunday 6th September 2009 in order to carry out a welding job on a wishbone of a VW polo.He stated he would be out to me on Monday 7th September 2009 and requested that I forward my address via text.I carried out his request also asking in the text to him,if he could inform me of an approx time of arrival. I received no response from this request. At 10.00rs on Monday morning I again contacted him, he stated that he would be calling into work first to be able to let me know a time and that he would give me a call.He did not call. At 14.20hrs I again contacted him and he stated that he would be with me in an hour or so...you've guessed it...he never turned up...nor did he contact me to let me know...obviously he felt his time was more valuable than mine and that I could afford to waste all day waiting for a no hoper. My partner contacted him the following day (tuesday) he then made out he was his brother-in-law and that 'Gary' himself was not very well...the trouble was he did not make any effort to disguise his voice and did not count on my listening in at the time my partner called... he stated he would be out to us, this time at 09.30 on the wednesday AND was given the opportunity to state whether he wanted the job or not...he stated he did and yes you've guessed it...NO SHOW...NO CALL..NO NOTHING..SO DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS TIME WASTER.You've been warned...no doubt like all people like this one he will always either blame something for not turning up...however, a call of courtesy costs nothing!!! Just bear in mind , he had 3 days to contact me was he 'so ill' that this was not possible?? Strange how he then agreed to come out to a 'friend' of ours when our 'friend' gave him a call...no mention of illness then!! I will leave it to you to judge.Jean FAREHAM
